There are lovers content with longing, I am not one of them – Rumi
I haven’t blogged in a while and as easy as it is to blame it on the crazy schedule that WAS my life in audit, I would rather embrace the new me by stating – we do well what we love. My love for sharing my thoughts just happened to be on a seriously low tide.
Usually the first to make a list of resolutions for the year – and always the same ones for the last few years – I decided to do it a little differently. I decided to get rid of the crazy -after all madness is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results!
SHOW UP! That’s what I plan to do; make a genuine appearance and contribution to my life. What if becoming who and what we truly are happens not through striving and trying but by recognizing and receiving the people and places and practices that offer us the warmth of encouragement we need to unfold? How would this shape the choices make about how you spend your time? (Oriah Mountain Dreamer – The Dance)
So rather than jump up and shout, “Yes, this is what I want! Lets do it!” Just stand up quietly and dance with me.
