A successful life is one that is lived through understanding and pursuing one’s own path, not chasing after the dreams of others – Chin-Ning Chu
I like to think of my decision to leave my job as embracing the value of extreme focus – It had become incredibly obvious to me that I was diluting myself, my efforts, my focus and my energy so much so that I was just spinning plates and getting nowhere.
Even then, the liberation from the courage to step boldly into my bliss was met with the strain and frustration of waiting for things to fall into place (or at least feel like they were). And now 6 months later in a brief yet shattering moment, I realized that my excruciating time of ambivalence was just as important a process as is the destination.
Having been stripped down to the bone, I was forced to really look inwards and from there plant the seed of my own success for my own life – the one I only get to live once.
Life is a series of tensions – pulling and pushing, easily throwing us into the tumultuous winds of change. But we can all stand firm together on the winning side – the side of Love.
